Medical and Psychosocial Services for Victims of Human Rights Violations

This document gives address and contact details for nearly 150 services working with victims

of political or other forms of organized violence in 43 countries. It replaces earlier circulars (see ACT

75/01/94, January 1994 and ACT 75/02/95, July 1995) and updates ACT 75/01/98, February 1998).

Entries are listed for the following countries and territories: Argentina, Australia, Austria,

It should be stressed that in addition to these particular services many refugees and other

victims of human rights violations are seen by doctors and other health professionals, via the general

health and social service systems operating in different countries. The list does not include details of

those who wished not to be listed or who did not respond to requests for information.
