medium voltage dry type and oil cooled instrument transformers. Based in Hyderabad, Telangana the company’s

manufacturing hub is a 9001:2015 registered company. Since, 2012, the company’s product ranges are functional in various

industries like power, utilities, solar and wind energy, cement, and pharma successfully. Tailor-made solutions are provided

for specific applications with technical knowledge and a capacity to understand the product needs to keep the clients happy

OUR MISSION

As part of the company’s futuristic vision, our 40,000 square feet area manufacturing plants accommodates the core

production sector. With continuous infrastructure upgrade, many innovative product designs required by different industry

verticals take shape in this latest facility. Currently, our ability lies in creating designs, development and manufacture of

dry-type and oil immersed medium voltage current and voltage transformers up to 36 KV for indoor and outdoor

applications. The facility is well equipped with a contemporary set up with advanced testing equipment. World class

clamping machines are used for resin cast and vacuum impregnation plant for oil immersed type to cut moisture and other

foreign particles to protect the coils. With oil as a medium fool proof insulation is possible. The in-house design unit with

CAD facility generates the precise requirement for our industrial grade engineering products that are appreciated by end

users.

Our aim is to offer one-stop solution for various capabilities combining engineering resources, mechanical and

technical services and support.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

At Straton, we understand the importance of continuous improvement and innovation in product. Our In-House R&D Department with its

constant innovation in designs is able to cater successfully to the changing needs of the industry over the years.

All standard ratings of Resin Cast and Oil Cooled Instrument Transformers upto 33Kv class have been type tested at NABL accredited

laboratories such as Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) and ERDA, India and these tests include Temperature rise, lightning impulse

and short circuit tests.

TESTING FACILITIES

Our Instrument Transformers have been validated according to all relevant standards. The testing chain comprises a medium

voltage laboratory and several in-process testing points.

Microprocessor based testing equipment for CTs and PTs with printout facility traceable to NABL.

Partial discharge (PD) testing equipment.

Knee point voltage testing equipment.

Over voltage inter-turn testing equipment.

Double the voltage double the frequency (DVDF) testing equipment.

Excitation curves testing equipment for testing of high grade silicon steels.

High voltage testing equipment upto 100KV.

Testing equipment to conduct temperature rise for voltage transformers.

Periodically calibrated standard current transformers, voltage transformers, burden boxes to ensure traceability to NABL.
