The Ice Age Discovery Center is located on the Snowmass Village Mall. Parking is provided in lots 4, 5, 8 and 9. More events are scheduled Wednesdays through Aug. 13. They are all free and open to the public. Walk on the Wild Side Garry Zabel Discussion at the Ice Age Discovery Center from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Later, 5:30 to 7 p.m., there will be a hike up the Rim Trail above the reservoir for a glaciology/geology walking lecture. Come prepared to hike and provide your own transportation to the trailhead.
