TARGET PARTICIPANTS:
20 participants form local governments, private sector related to forestry, wine growing and other sectors related closely to production of biomass, civil sector and university students.
Event/Meeting’s Minutes The workshop covered wide area of topic related to biomass. In the first part, the participants were introduced to the basic information about energy efficiency and biomass. Then they were informed on possible uses of biomass, emphasizing forests, and the situation in Montenegro was described and discussed. The second day of the Workshop went deeper into the topic explaining the technologies used in producing biomass and the environmental standards in this area. The participants were asked to evaluate the emission and biomass potentials of their own municipalities. At the end, case studies prepared by the partners were presented and discussed. The participants found them, as well as the previous discussions very useful for the future development of biomass in their regions.

Institut za strateške studije i projekcije (ISSP) iz Podgorice, u okviru MED transnacionalnog programa saradnje na teritoriji Evrope, realizuje projekat Green Partnership. Cilj projekta je da podrži lokalnu administraciju i privatni sektor u zemljama MED regiona u prevazilaženju postojećih prepreka i efikasnoj implementaciji mjera na putu ka energetski efikasnim gradovima i regionima.
Povodom realizacije ovog projekta, pozivamo Vas da prisustvujete radionici na temu: ¨Upotreba biomase kao obnovljivog izvora energije˝. Cilj radionice je upoznavanje sa mogućnostima dobijanja i upotrebe biomase, kao i regulativom i standardima koji postoje u ovoj oblasti.

The Workshop on Biomass was attended by 18 people from different sectors and profiles, which is presented at the following graph:
The organization of the workshop was evaluated in the following way: Welcome and registration was evaluated as excellent by 83% of participants, while the remaining 17% found it was very good. 67% found the catering excellent, 28% found it very good, while 6% thought it was good. The venue was valued as excellent by 72%, very good by 22% and good by 6%.
Regarding the first topic, 89% found it most relevant and thought that the presentation was excellent, while 11% thought that it was very good. The trainer’s knowledge regarding this topic was evaluated as excellent by 94%, while 6% thought it was very good.
72% found the topic relevance excellent, while 28% found it very good. The presentations were evaluated as excellent in 78% of cases, and very good in 22% of them. The trainer’s knowledge was evaluated as excellent by 67% of participants, while the rest, 33% found it was very good.
Topic 3 was found most relevant in the 78% of cases, while the 22% found it’s relevance very good. The presentations were valued as excellent by 78% of people, very good by 17% and good by 5%.
The relevance of topic 4 was evaluated as excellent in 72% of cases, very good in 22%, and good in 6% of cases. The presentations and the trainer’s knowledge were evaluated as excellent by 78%, very good by 17% and good by 5%.
Topic 5 was found relevant in 78%, very good in 17% and good in 5%. The presentations were evaluated as excellent in 61% of cases and very good in the remaining 39%. The trainer was evaluated as excellent by 78%, and very good by 22% of participants.
The relevance of topic 6 was evaluated as excellent in 83% of cases, very good in 17% of cases. The presentations were valued as excellent in 78%, very good in 17% and good in 5% of cases. The trainer’s knowledge were evaluated as excellent by 83% and very good by 17% of participants.
The discussion was found excellent by 72% of participants, while 28% of them thought it was very good. Best practices were evaluated as excellent by the 78% of them, very good by 17% and good in 5%. Handouts were evaluate4d as excellent in 78% and very good in 22% of questionnaires.
When it comes to the overall quality of the workshop, it was perceived as excellent by 78% of participants, very good by 17% and good by 5% of them. All of the participants have declared that the workshop met their expectations and that they have gotten some valuable inputs from it.
