Megan and I had the opportunity to work together throughout the technical rehearsals and both performances of this year’s Festival. As intern to the President of the Erie Dance Consortium, Megan met every challenge decisively and efficiently. She adeptly assumed the organization and coordination of staff and volunteers for three days of rehearsals and performances. She willingly took on several details that had not been addressed including dressing room assignments and securing extra rooms for over 80 performers from 22 dance organizations. Throughout the Festival and the days leading up to it, Megan exhibited superb leadership skills. She demonstrated the ability to assess situations quickly, act decisively and delegate work with confidence, kindness and a positive attitude. She left nothing to chance, offering to coordinate tasks that had been overlooked or needed additional attention. Megan’s leadership skills, pleasant personality, her attention to detail and professionalism were critical to the success of this year’s Erie Festival of Dance. Most valuable to me was the certainty of knowing that Megan would meet any aspect or challenge concerning the Festival with professionalism and success. Megan would be a superb asset to any employer, staff or production team. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Sincerely, Bob Steineck Lighting Designer & Technical Director Erie Dance Consortium
