VISION STATEMENT
The Sunshine Coast tourism region will be globally recognised as Australia’s premier revitalising destination where the blend of experiences showcases the region’s diversity.
THE REGIONVSC is the Queensland Government’s official regional tourism organisation for the Sunshine Coast, and incorporates the area from the Glass House Mountains in the south to Rainbow Beach in the north, Hinterland and the Mary Valley to the west.
TOURISM IS EVERYONE’S BUSINESS.
As the key economic driver for the Sunshine Coast and generating $2.5 billion annually, Visit Sunshine Coast (VSC) is vested with the responsibility of driving demand to the region and sharing our ‘naturally refreshing’ story with the world.
In 2015/2016, VSC delivered an extraordinary range of destination marketing initiatives that have resulted in record visitation to the region - highlighted by the Sunshine Coast Airport being the fastest growing in Australia for nine consecutive months!
Visitation to the Sunshine Coast is experiencing incredible growth and the global conditions are primed for your business to leverage this opportunity. BASE MEMBERSHIPThis is for businesses who operate outside of the Sunshine Coast Local Government Area (LGA) and who do not contribute to the Sunshine Coast Tourism and Major Events Levy.
SUBSIDISED MEMBERSHIPThis is for businesses who operate within the Sunshine Coast LGA. Sunshine Coast Tourism and Major Events Levy subsidises your membership fees.
Note: Business with the Destination Gympie Region may be eligible for a 25% subsidy. Please contact VSC to discuss this opportunity.
