  • In 2005 and 2011, Memphis did more than win one game in the conference postseason tour-nament.

The 2005 Tigers, a No. 7 seed, got on a roll and advanced to the Conference USA champion-ship game, where they dropped a heart-break-ing 75-74 decision to Louisville.

As the No. 4 seed in the 2011 C-USA Champi-onship, the Tigers put together a run for the ages in Memphis lore. The Tigers overcame an 11-pointdeficitinthefinalminutesforathrill-ing 67-66 victory over UTEP on the Miners homecourt.

TIGERS LOVE FRIDAY THE 13TH For those superstitious types, they try every-

thing to avoid a Friday the 13th. But, for the Tigers, Friday the 13th has been

World War II), Memphis is a perfect 6-0 in Fri-day the 13th games.

Included in that 6-0 record is a 2-0 mark on Mar. 13 in conference postseason tournaments.

Under head coach Josh Pastner, Memphis is 2-0 in Friday the 13th games.
