    The Juniors Soaring High

    The Junior Ravens proved to be worthy of winning their rst ever

    championship in the mens volleyball. As of one of their cheers said !Together well

    rise from the dar"ness and #y to our highest$ they showed to the people how toplay as a team and for the batch. %hile being one of the underdogs in the past

    &ntramurals this does not discouraged the Juniors to grow even stronger. And also a

    vast improvement was shown by specic players who led the team through their

    championship.

    The Juniors made the Sophomores go nervous in the 'inals with their

    scintillating serves sharp spi"es and even their drop balls ( courtesy of Andrei

    )iguel *aymo. +eing one of the tallest and smartest in their lineup *aymo became

    another person to loo" to e,cept for the dynamic duo )atthew Hidalgo and Joshua

    -adua since their rst game with the Sophomores. ven if they loss their rst game

    *aymo showing he has a hidden prowess in volleyball gave his team the thing they

    are nding for two years ( condence.

    The rst set of the 'inals started out to be as e,pected the Juniors winning it

    against the Sophomores /0120. %ith the errors piling up for the Sophomores the

    Juniors also easily too" the second set at /0123. The third set seems to be favorable

    for the Juniors at rst but the Sophomores gain their momentum towards the third

    set led by the dynamic duo of their own Jomari Racho and Andraeissy Aro and with

    the Juniors having errors at the latter part of the set winning it at /01/2. The

    rhythm came bac" to the Juniors in the fourth set ta"ing it at /0124. The deciding

    set was won by the Juniors with all e5orts coming from each of the players giving

    them their well1deserved championship at /0120.

    )eanwhile the Senior -aragons failing it to ma"e it to the nals because ofusing pointing system instead of the ran"ings won the 2strunner up against the

    'reshmen Sovereigns at three sets.
