    Job Description

    To design and implement a merchandise planning structure, enable transparency in stock control,allocation and delivery in a timely process; ensures that all Brand Partners strategies and the

    Companys trading strategy are complied with..

    1. Designs and implements a merchandise planning process and procedure; implements the stock

    low process which incorporates and interprets the Brand Partners strategies in order to deliver

    and preserve the brand identity within the particular !etail "roup.

    #. #. $ncorporates Proit Planning %trategy or each brand with various proit parameters.

    &. $mplements a distribution' allocation strategy, taking into account the detailed buy plan or

    each merchandise division and the brands within it and based on the Business Plan and the

    seasonal cycle rolling orecast.

    (. Designs and implements a merchandise inancial calendar to incorporate, 1) month rolling

    orecast, 1# agreed plan, pre*seasonal plan review and reorecast. %eason, +uarter, and monthly

    TB.

    -. Produce an annual, seasonal and monthly product cape orecast and review with merchandise

    controller and C/.

    0. change key market inormation with each brand partner on the market level o acceptance

    o new ashion garments and trends acknowledging the need or setting trends in the local market

    in order to maintain and increase market share o ashion garments in 2%3 in line with market

    growth.

    4. nsure the eective distribution' allocation o merchandise o the right product, right market

    and right +uantity in time or the seasonal merchandise launches in line with brand partner

    guidelines through aective process management and implementation within the !etail "roup

    and through the Divisional 5erchandise teams.

    ). ptimi6e the assortment o /ashion "arments or each brand in terms o si6e ratios, top andbottom ratios and colour combinations 7mi and match oering8 in order to epose the customer

    to the ull selection o assortment o garments in the store, assisting in achieving all promotional

    targets.

    9. Comply with the stock turn parameters or each brand in order to benchmark against industry

    standards and best practice and take the necessary action to improve stock turn perormance
