One day you might need a quick bite on the way to class, and the next you might have more time to relax and enjoy a meal with friends. To help meet everyone’s needs, we have designed our dining options to be convenient, flexible and affordable for our students. Meals obtained through dining plans can be used either at Grotto Commons or the dining facility in Ryan Hall, both of which are all-you-care-to-eat facilities. Bonus Bucks are included with each plan and represent money that can be used to pay for meals, snacks or beverages at the Laker Inn, the Coffee Bar or the Warde Hall Convenience Store at any time. Students with meal plans other than the Erie Anytime Plan may change plans before the start of each semester. Once the semester begins, however, no changes can be made to any plan. Meals and Bonus Bucks expire at the end of each semester and do not roll over. Distinct from Bonus Bucks, Dining Dollars are purchased separately as part of the Hurst Dining Club. Dining Dollars can be used at any on-campus dining facility (Grotto Commons, Ryan Hall dining facility, Laker Inn, Coffee Bar or Convenience Store) and include a 20 percent discount when used to pay. Money housed in the Hurst Dining Club rolls over from semester to semester and year to year. Students can have both Bonus Bucks and Dining Dollars (Bonus Bucks will be spent first).
