In less than 3 years Fast Forward Cargo and First Priority Cargo have successfully grown to leading freight forwarding companies in the UAE air- and sea-freight market. Both companies are fully owned members of the Fast Logistics Solutions Group (FLS Group). To further strengthen the market position and eliminate inter- nal competition both companies will be merged into Fast Logistics. Fast Logistics will be the largest local freight forwarder in UAE with annual airfreight volumes at 50.000 tons and ocean freight volumes at 20.000 TEU’s. Fast Logistics will employ 600 staff in a network of 40 offices across UAE, Africa and Asia. In UAE Fast Logistics will have 25.000 m2 warehouse facilities on 5 strategic locations. A new head office for the international activities of Fast Logistics will be opened in Bangalore, India. All inter- national offices will be rebranded to Fast Logistics. The merge of Fast Forward Cargo and First Priority Cargo will not affect the staff visas as both companies are under the same ownership. All staff will be transferred to Fast Logistics upon expiry of the individual visas. Further communication about the merge will follow via FLS-Connect. The new organisation structure of Fast Logistics will have 2 divisions: UAE and International

For the UAE division the following appointments have been made:

Alex Benzie – Vice President UAE. In this role Alex will be responsible for the entire sea and air operation of Fast Logistics in UAE A new Executive Commercial Director will join Fast Logistics to further strengthen the commercial organisation in UAE and generate more business. An announcement will be made soon.

The Air Freight Team in UAE will be headed by Sheraz Bahar and Hakzar Azad The Sea Freight Team in UAE will be headed by Ravi Vishal, Sanjay MM, Francis Mugisha and

Prasant B.

In the Finance Department Radhakrishnan (RK) has been appointed as Group Finance Manager.

Raman Shanmugam has been appointed as GM Finance UAE and Sudhir Mallya as Accounts Manager UAE The International division will be located in a new o�ce in Bangalore, India. This o�ce will function as the head o�ce for the international activities and will be the base from where the activities of Fast Logistics will be expanded in India. For the International division the following appointments have been made:

Mohammed Shazul – Vice President International. In this role based in Bangalore Shazul will be responsible for all international o�ces and partnerships.

Robert Taylor has been appointed as Director Business Development

Prem Swaroop has been appointed as Director East Africa

Yinka-babalola Ayodotun (Dotun) has been appointed Director West Africa

Appointments for GCC, India and China will be made in due course

In the Finance Department for the International Division Nagaraj Komperla has been appointed as GM Finance Africa. A GM Finance Asia will be appointed in due course

Contracting | Engineering | Technology

Fast Solutions - rebrandingFast Forward General Trading, Fast Forward Engineering and Fast Forward Contracting will be rebranded to Fast Solutions. The 3 divisions in Fast Solutions will be:

The new joint venture with Liberty Logistics has successfully kicked o� on 1st May 2015. A team of 8 sta� from Fast Forward has joined Liberty Logistics. Fast Logistics will use Liberty Logistics facilities for cross stu�ng & 3PL services. Liberty Logistics is planning to open up a new o�ce in Oman and has ambitious plans to expand its business portfolio in the future.

Fast Logistic Solutions Group – Developments

An exclusive partnership will be signed next week between Fast Logistics and Fast Forward Freight in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. With this arrangement Fast Logistics will strenghten its position in the European market.

The development of a new Aviation Division in the FLS-Group is nearing its completion. Under the name Aviation Solutions new activities such as GSA for cargo airlines, charter brokarage and our own ‘virtu-al airline’ will be launched soon.
