planning in November.

It’s been a big year for the
project!
As we rapidly approach
2016 its important we take
the time to reflect on all of
the exciting achievements
of the Westmead
Redevelopment Project.
Over the course of 2015
we’ve seen the demolition
of buildings on ADHC land
to make way for car parking
in the new year, the
beginning of Short Stay
Redevelopment and
Masters of Nursing facility
due for completion in early
2016, finalisation of concept
design for Stage 1 which
includes the new Acute
Services Building located
between The Children’s
Hospital at Westmead and
Westmead Hospital and
significant refurbishment to
the existing hospital.
We want to thank all of our
amazing staff and
stakeholders for their effort
this year as we look toward
another year of big changes
and major works around
the precinct.

An important part of the
Redevelopment is managing essential
services before we begin to build new
spaces.
Throughout 2015 and beyond the
Westmead Redevelopment is
delivering critical upgrades across
water, power, gas and car parking as
enabling works for the Redevelopment
and the precinct.
The design philosophy is to start from
the ground up and make sure we’re
developing a world-class healthcare
facility.
