becoming an institution within
Franklin itself. On behalf of the Franklin

committee, I welcome you and
thank you for your continued
support! Also a thank you to all
fellow thespians (Franklinites

talents to the stage. We look
forward to some exciting good

ultimately the revelation of the
winners. My sincere thanks to
Mark Paps for organising such
a wonderful festival. We hope you enjoy the
upcoming performances and
urge you to keep an eye out for
upcoming shows for the
remainder of 2015 such as our
mid-year 'Cause for Alarm', a
farce written by Gareth Rubin. We are also pleased to
announce that 10% of all ticket
sales for the One Acts will be
donated to the SPCA. With
winter coming up our furry

very pleased to be welcoming
our fellow amdram society, The
Edenvale Acting and Drama
Society, who have entered
three productions into this
year's festival. The two weekends of
productions represents the
culmination of three months of
tireless work by the directors
and actors, countless late
n i g h t s o f r e h e a r s a l s a n d
technical run through's. A s p r o d u c e r o f t h e
festival I would like to extend a
w o r d o f t h a n k s t o e a c h
individual actor and director for
their tremendous commitment
from beginning to end. I know
there have been times when it
has been difficult with all the
normal stresses of life and work
to remain committed, but that
commitment shows in the
quality of productions we will
be seeing.I would also like to thank
the committee members of The
Frankl in P layers for your
support and assistance in
producing this years festival. Finally, and most impor-
tantly, thank you to YOU our
loyal patrons who support our
Community Theatre.

our French soldiers Fhave managed to live o u t t h e w a r i n t h e comparative luxury of a small French castle with all of the amenities. Suddenly their lives are thrown into disarray when they learn the war has caught up with them and they must now make a plan to ensure that they all survive.
About the Director: This is m y s e c o n d y e a r w i t h Franklin and first attempt
at directing in well over a decade! What an honour it has been to work with s u c h a t a l e n t e d a n d hardworking bunch who have helped make my t r a n s i t i o n b a c k t o directing an extremely pleasant and rewarding one. The cherry on top was being afforded the opportunity to direct my father and my sister - a o n c e i n a l i f e t i m e experience! Thank you!

Don’t Shrink MeWritten by: ASHLEY NADERDirected by:KENYON MacMURRAY
on't Shrink Me is a Dplay that delves into the often misunderstood world of therapy. Therapy attracts people from all walks of life making for some interesting encoun-ters.
People go to therapy for a variety of reasons and automatically assume that therapy is a “Safe Space”!
About the Director: I have had an interest in theatre since I could first recognise
the sounds of Gilbert and Sullivan being played on LP by my parents.
Ever since I was told by a director at school to do something that didn't gel with me I have wanted to direct.
This is the second play that I have directed and thanks must go to my fantastic cast and the incredible talented writer Ashley Nader.
I t h a s b e e n a pleasure!!!
