Message from President

The KLCE as an engineering institution has been a pioneer on many scores is an undisputed

fact. Now that it has been accorded a higher status that of a deemed university KLU is teaming with

not only new minds but also a new version with a renewal vigor and ever soaring vitality. Over the

past decades it has been instrumental in providing quality education engaging in continuous

curriculum development process. KLCE has made drastic changes in its curriculum and innovative

teaching practices by adding many elements. Accordingly, K L University is moving forward to

create the desired Complete professional,

Since its inception, KLU has grown by leaps and bounds with twelve branches, currently offering a

large number of UG, PG and research programs covering the entire range of technical education. Its

performance has consistently been given high ratings by standard Accreditation and Assessment

Agencies like ISO, NBA and NAAC. It also has an enviable track record of 100% placements in

various industries and organizations.

Temples of learning vie with one another in scaling greater heights. There is a healthy competition

resulting in better quality of an academic institution is judged based on a number of parameters like

quality of students, staff and infrastructure. International conferences in any discipline speak volumes

about the quality of research being undertaken by any discipline. Hence, play a crucial role in

spreading the name and fame of any department. The department of ECE is a model department in

that respect.

It gives me immense pleasure to note that Electronics and Communication Engineering

Department is conducting 3 rdInternational Conference on RF and Signal processing Systems (RSPS-

2013).I take this opportunity to thank the authors ,educational Institutions and R&D organizations inour country and abroad for the encouragement that has enabled us to rise to their expected standards.

I particularly thank IEEE for their ready technical support in all aspects.

Message from Chancellor

I am delighted to know that the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering

of our University has planned to organize an International Conference on RF and Signal ProcessingSystems, 3rd in a row with the 1st in 2008 and the 2ndin 2010, during 26-27 July 2013. RSPS have

become an important vehicle of communication and an active area of research. I congratulate my

colleagues in the University for taking the initiative of networking with co-workers spread over many

institutions and countries and bringing them in a common platform for sharing the knowledge for the

ultimate benefit of the society.

The Department of ECE of our University has been known for its strength in teaching and

research with qualified and experienced faculty together with state-of-art laboratories. It handles a

good number of sponsored projects including FIST from DST, Govt of India. The students are

generally very meritorious and get plum jobs in reputed organizations.

On behalf of the University, I extend a warm welcome to all the delegates, in particular those

who are coming from far-off places and fervently hope that the Conference will be a grand success.

Message from Vice Chancellor

With its vision to become a World class university in Education and Research, K L

University is aiming to enhance the capabilities of the university to become dynamic, demand driven,

quality conscious, efficient and forward looking, responsive to rapid economic and technological

developments occurring on the global educational scenario by organizing international and National

conferences, workshops and seminars.

I am happy to note that Electronics and Communication Engineering Department is conducting its

3rd international conference on RF and signal processing systems (RSPS-2013).This conference

would bring laurels to the department and put it on the world map of Electronics. I congratulate the

entire team which has worked with utmost devotion and made this dream possible.

We have received tremendous response from Engineers and Scientists all over the world and this

will be a great leap into the Global Educational Scenario.

I would like to particularly thank our President and Chancellor for rendering his continuous

support in this direction. I wish the conference a grand success. May it surpass our imagination in all

Message from Conference Chair

I am happy that the KL University is conducting 3rd

International Conference on RF

and Signal Processing Systems during July 26 -27, 2013. I welcome all the resource persons,

authors, and participants to KL University, one of the best deemed Universities in India.

It is interesting to note that it aimed to focus on Analog and digital signal processing,

antennas and array signal processing, bio-medical signal processing, communication systems,

cellular communications, image processing, electronic warfare systems and processing,

detection and estimation, radar and sonar systems, RF Microwave and millimeter wave

systems, satellite communications, speech processing, security systems, VLSI for

communication and signal processing, wireless sensor networks, global navigational satellite

systems etc.

I am sure that all the participants will be enriched by the discussions, and

presentations in the conference.

I congratulate Prof. Habibulla Khan and the organizing team for initiating to conduct

an International Conference. I wish them for a great success of the conference.

Message from Principal

It gives an immense pleasure that 3 rdInternational conference on RF and Signal Processing

systems (RSPS 2013) is being organized by KL University in Technical cooperation with IEEE

&IETE.

I am very happy to note that our ECE Department is conducting the Conference. The

department has been a trend setter with faculty and staff working in absolute harmony and

synchronism. This is yet another product of that unified and intensive effort of the department.

This is really laudable. Looking at the response we have received from all over the world the

event is going to be truly global.

The technical exposure that this conference gives to the faculty and students of our university

is great and the contribution towards merger of RF and Signal Processing areas is the essence of the

conference.

I take this opportunity to thank one and all particularly the authors and the participants.

Faculty, staff and students of KL University, Department of Electronics and Communications

Message from Convener

With its mission to serve the purpose of Technical Education ,Electronics and communication

Engineering department is conducting 3 rd international Conference on RF and signal processing

systems(RSPS 2013).The Conference helps in driving the performance of the University thereby its

special qualities through the Technical Educational Systems.

The beneficial symbiosis of the Academic excellence and Industrial relevance has been a uniquefeature of K L University in general Electronics and communication Engineering Department in

particular. The Department has grown big and great, thanks to the untiring the efforts of every

member of the Department and expertise we have, painstakingly built over the decades. The

International Conference is intended to bring Researchers from the world over together and the

immediate beneficiaries are the students and the faculty members of our institution.

With regard to the conference, the advisory, organizing and technical committees have done a

commendable job in realizing this goal. I thank one and all for this, I take this opportunity thank Dr

G.S.N RAJU for his guidance at every stage without his help and involvement the conference would

not have been possible. I would like to thank the faculty and the staff of Electronics and

Communication Engineering Department. I also thank IEEE and IETE for readily agreeing to be the

Technical sponsors of this conference and I also thank the other sponsors of the conference.

A total of 102 proposals were received from all over the world, in the form of full papers. After

extensive screening, 60 papers were selected for presentation at the conference. These were divided

into 3 sessions. We have also included invited talks from experts with in the country and abroad. I

hope that will certainly bring in a standard and originality to the conference.

Finally, I take this opportunity to thank all the authors and invited speakers profusely for

contributing and participating in the conference. I also thank all the reviewers who have helped in the

formidable task of reviewing experience to the participants as well as organizers and believe that the

outcome would be beneficial to all.

I welcome all the participants to imbibe the spirit of the originality and technical content of

conference.

I wish the conference a grand success and I hope this will be a trend setter for future conferences.
