2.2.2 In Sulaiman bin Aziz v Abd. Razak 6 MD (4th Ed, 1997 Reissue) 1261 and Rohani bte Mamat v Wan Ismail 6MD (4th Ed 1997) para 741, the Court awarded RM4,000.00 for one fracture of the metacarpal without disabilities. 2.2.3 In Mohamad Khirul Nizam bin Shafie vs Yue Ah Kai [2002] 6 MLJ 471 , the Court also awarded a sum of RM4,000.00 for a fracture of the 4th metacarpal without disabilities. 2.2.4 In See Siew Lee v Chow Kear Jeang [223] MD 6 , the Sessions Court awarded a sum of RM 3,000.00 for one fracture of the right third middle phalanx. This case was decided in the year 1995 2.2.5 .In Khatijah bte Laman v Ayub b.Mohamed & Anor [1995] MD 894 , the High Court awarded RM 6,000.00 for the two (2) fractures of the of the proximal phalanges of the right 3 rd and 4 th fingers.
