Arrival at site
Access/ egress to all sites must be by a pre-planned route or by the client's instruction.
All certification/ qualification for the vehicle and crew are available for inspection.
Before any activity on site, a site-specific risk assessment will be prepared, all live personnel will be made aware of the content/ signed in to it.
All Forklift truck drivers are certified to operate the type of machine used on site All reversing will be under the supervision of a trained banksman.
Please note: This is a generic visual method statement of how LIVE install/ Recover mesh fence panels. A site-specific method statement is only produced following a site visit.

Installation
Vehicle with loaded with 6 stillages and blocks
7.5 tonne truck loaded with a single stilage and blocks for installation
Fork lift truck with stillage for installation The blocks are laid out at 3.5m gaps along the fence line either from a vehicle or the fork lift truck

Once the team installing the block have got started, the second team will position the fence panels into the blocks.
Two men lift the fence panel from the vehicle and lace it in the rubber blocks
A standard clip is fitted to hold the panels in place
The Installation team will use a flat bed truck or fork lift truck to install the fence panels
This is repeated until the fence is complete
The nut is on the inside of the fence line and is tightened with a scaffold spanner or a pneumatic wrench

I For certain applications anti lift devices are fitted to the inside of the fence line
Fence stays can be added to the inside of the fence for extra security. The application will dictate the frequency. Block trays can be used in areas where it is not possible to use stakes to secure the fence. (Note if pins are used the area should be CAT scanned prior to installation)

Recovery
I All clips are removed
Antilift devices are removed
I Any stays fitted are removed
Once all of the securing devices have been removed the individual panels are lifted out and stacked on stillages
Individual fence panels are stacked onto stillages on the ground or directly on the vehicles Blocks are stacked in stilla es or in acks and banded for trans ort

Once full the retaining posts are fitted into The stillages should always be lifted in the the front corners correct fork slots to allow use of any FLT with
the correct capacity.
Stillages can be stockpiled to a maximum height of 4 stillages
Blocks are also transported in stillages for lager contracts these sit below the panel stillages for transport
