Metro Ethernet Forum MEF 14 and MEF 9 certifi cations provide high confi dence in Tata Communications’ Wide Area Network (WAN) Ethernet offerings.

As the fi rst global and Indian Ethernet service provider to achieve MEF 14 and 9 certifi cations, Tata Communications is a market leader in providing WAN Ethernet offerings that are standard-based, manageable and ready for your use.

Tata Communications’ carrier-grade Ethernet services are provided seamlessly and securely across our global network connecting India, North America, Asia and Europe. We offer scalable bandwidths, standard Fast-E and Gig-E interfaces and non-interrupting service upgrades.

MEF 14 and MEF 9 certifi cations are verifi ed through independent testing and assure customers that our global Ethernet services meet rigorous international standards. MEF 14 ensures that the latency, jitter and packet loss performance of the services conforms to the rigorous MEF standards. MEF 9 ensures the conditions required for delivery of services have specifi c Ethernet User Network Interface (UNI) and Ethernet Virtual Connection (EVC) service attributes, with corresponding parameter values. MEF 14 and 9 certifi cations apply to our Dedicated Global Ethernet service, National Ethernet Private Line services in India, and point-to-point and multi-point Ethernet services.

We deliver all the advantages of Ethernet seamlessly and securely over SONET or MPLS platforms to meet metro, national and global connectivity needs.

Dedicated Global Ethernet (DGE)

DGE is a global Ethernet Private Line service utilizing an Ethernet over SONET/SDH Layer 2 switch, which allows you to fl exibly connect to over 120 cities in India, plus major hubs throughout the world.

Ethernet Private Line (EPL)

EPL is a point-to-point, dedicated Ethernet service supported on an Ethernet over SDH platform. EPL is available across and within metropolitan areas in India.

Ethernet Over MPLS

Ethernet over MPLS is delivered on our fully-meshed private MPLS network for greater redundancy with differentiated Quality of Service (QoS). Our private MPLS network encompasses major business hubs across India, North America, Asia and Europe.
