Help Us Answer the Question: Does life exist on other planets?Throughout the week, we will exploring the world around us using all of the scientific tools we have: running experiments, working through problems, and attempting to answer questions that seem unanswerable. The camp is run by the Moeller Science Department and assisted by current Moeller students. You only need to bring a healthy dose of curiosity.

Moeller HSPT Prep Camp helps 8th grade boys prepare for the exam that is administered by all Archdiocesan high schools. Preparation camp sessions are designed to:

• Strengthen a student’s test-taking skills• Help students master time-management strategies• Motivate and build a student’s self-confidence• Show a student exactly what to expect on test day• Meet Moeller students and learn more about why you should be a future Man of Moeller!

Students will experience making music with others while receiving specific instruction on playing his instrument, music theroy, music history, conducting, composing and marching.

Woodwind and Brass players, bring your instruments, mouthpieces, reeds, etc. Percussionists, bring drum sticks; percussion instuments will be provided. For students who have played an instrument, one school year or more.

This camp is designed to teach the fundamental skills of basketball as well as teach teamwork and good sportsmanship through various competitions and games. Instruction is provided by Moeller coaches and former and current Moeller players.

All participants will receive a camp basketball and T-shirt.

Space Is Limited.Session I: 200 Campers / Session II: 240 Campers / Session III: 80 Campers

Note: If your son is attending the football camp in the morning, the camp counselors will eat lunch with them and walk them to the gym for basketball camp. Please have your camper pack his lunch.

Play baseball the Moeller Way! All fundamentals will be taught: hitting, pitching, catching, throwing, base running, infield and outfield play. Games will also be played. Baseball camp is conducted by Moeller High School coaches assisted by current and former baseball players.

Please bring baseball gloves, bats and helmets. Do not bring your own baseball.

This camp combines cutting edge Freestyle & Greco-Roman technique with intense drilling and live wrestling sessions. Not for the faint of heart, this rigorous camp seeks to prepare focused wrestlers for Cadet and Junior Nationals as well as other prestigious tournaments. Players do not need to know freestyle wrestling to reap the benefits of this great camp.

Session I: Lunch/Snack is from 10:30-11:00.

This summer league is designed to give eighth graders and incoming freshmen the opportunity to play in a summer basketball league under the guidance of Moeller coaches. This league is also a great way to meet new people from other area grade schools.

All participants will be placed on a team and will be guaranteed eight games. Each participant will receive a reversible jersey. Games will take place Monday through Thursday and will be announced via email at the end of May. Space is limited to first 120 boys.

This mini-camp is open to all Archbishop Moeller incoming freshman and is designed to introduce them to Moeller basketball. This camp will concentrate on developing skills that will be needed to compete at the freshman level.

All participants will receive a camp basketball and T-shirt.

ONE SESSION ONLY:

Grade 9, $85 / 9 AM – 3 PM

Campers will learn the basics of throwing, catching and playing lacrosse. Campers will enjoy fun competitive games throughout camp and will be instructed by current Moeller Players and Coaches. This camp is for those interested in learning lacrosse for the first time or a beginner working on basic fundamentals.

The only equipment needed is a stick. Campers will be provided one if you do not have one of your own. No other equipment is needed.

Goalie School, Sniper School, Defender School. This camp is designed to improve the individual player's skill set by position. There are three camps in one and players will choose to attend their specific position camp.

Defender School is for those players focused on becoming a dominate defender; Sniper School is for offensive players working on their shot and offensive fundamentals; and Goalie School is for those campers who want to become better at playing goalie.

Players must provide their own equipment.

The Crusaders Football Camp is to introduce your son to new ideas and the latest techniques and fundamentals being taught in football. He will have the opportunity to work on positions and techniques (quarterback, running back, receiver/tight end, interior line, linemen, linebacker, secondary & special teams).

Drinks will be provided.

Note: If your son is attending the Session 3 Basketball camp in the afternoon, the camp counselors will eat lunch with them and walk them to the gym for basketball camp.

Moeller coaches and student assistants will coach the boys in the following sports: baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse, soccer, volleyball, and wrestling. The campers will be placed in groups by grade level, and they will stay together during the day. They will meet with each sport each day for instruction and games.

Whether your son is a novice athlete looking to try volleyball or a player with experience, this camp is for him.

Skill instruction will include serving, passing, setting, defense, and attacking. Those in attendance will also receive team training and competition, with a camp tournament culminating on Thursday.
