FOR MORE THAN 200 YEARS,
HAS BEEN KNOWN AS ONE OF THE PREMIER PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES IN THE U.S.
The Miami University ExperienceFocus on undergraduates. Miami University’s undergraduate teaching has received national recognition from U.S. News & World Report, The Princeton Review, The New York Times, and Businessweek. And more than 2,000 undergraduate students work with professors on funded research each year.
Strong outcomes. Our students graduate on time and are well-prepared for the job market or for graduate school. Nearly 100 percent of Miami University students are involved in internships, fieldwork, or co-ops. Employers conduct significantly more on-campus interviews at Miami University than at other universities our size.
Active student life. Nearly all first- and second-year students live on Miami University’s 2,000-acre campus, and many are actively involved in a variety of recreational, social, spiritual, and cultural organizations. Off campus, the town of Oxford offers plenty for students to do, see, and enjoy.
