Conference Objectives

Provide health care professionals with up-to-date information about trauma care.

Participants will increase knowledge of traumacare, injury prevention initiatives and data us-age.

Provide attendees an opportunity to networkwith other health professionals, regional andstate partners, and explore strategies for im-proving trauma care.

Continuing Education:

RN—Nursing contact hours will be provided. The final approved contact hours will be posted on the BETP Trauma website. Application has been made through the Ohio Nurses Association. The Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91) is an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Require-ments for participation are complete attendance of the entire session. Contact hours will not be award-ed for those who arrive late or leave early.

Physician—This activity has been planned and im-plemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of American College of Emergency Physicians and Michigan College of Emergency Physicians and the Michigan Bureau of EMS, Trauma & Preparedness. The American College of Emergency Physicians is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The American College of Emergency Physicians designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
