The compact unmanned Micro MineWolf successfully fills the gap between larger manipulator vehicles and the smaller, less robust EOD robots (ROVs). The system fulfils a number of requirements in various scenarios. The robustness and versatility of the MW50 makes it a safe and rapidly deployable solution for government forces in the event of internal security incidents, particularly those involvingexplosive devices.
Multiple applications for dealing with an explosive item
Defeating it in situ using a disruptor mounted on the tool carrier
Relocating or removing it with gripper, bucket or the EOD Multi-tool
Gaining access to the item using the solid bucket, gripper or hydraulic shears
Examining and identifying it for subsequent EOD operating procedures using the various cameras on the system
Scenarios for security forces deploying the MW50
Relocating or disarming in situ a suspect device located in the city centre
Accessing and excavating a roadside bomb from the ground
Cutting open the car before removing the vehicle-borne IED inside
Identifying and/or clearing IEDs in culverts, holes and under bridges
Remotely identifying if a building has been bombed or booby trapped
Breaching walls and buildings for gaining access
Moving and loading damaged ordnance to a safe location
The configuration of the Micro MineWolf tool-box system can be customized to a high degree in accordance with specific customer requirements.
