SIBMICRODUR is an extremely versatile microcement for floor and wall surfaces. Less than 3 mm thick when applied, it is durable and highly abrasion resistant. Due to its excellent bonding power it can also be applied to almost any kind of stable household surface including ceramics, wood, baths, countertops and sinks and furniture items as well as staircases and large areas of flooring.

The finish gives an elegant continuous appearance, creating very personal and unique environments. It’s a contemporary surfacing system that allows freedom of architectural design and creativity.

SIBMICRODUR can be applied as a solid continous surface onto walls, floors and ceilings, without expansion joints or any other type of visible join.

Our own dedicated substrate preparation and the natural elasticity of the product result in a crack free application even on very large surfaces.

The conclusion is a smooth and seamless finish which makes maintenance and cleaning quicker and easier and is more hygienic in day to day use.

In the SIBMICRODUR application process every job is unique. Unlike other materials such as marble or wood, our SIBMICRODUR floorings are always unique and completely tailored to the client’s requirements.

Almost traditional in use, the product is hand applied with a trowel; it doesn’t require any modern, specialist or expensive equipment. The professional’s skill is what determines the final surface appearance.

The normal application process is to apply a primer, glass mesh (on floors), SIBMICRODUR BASE, SIBMICRODURFINO and sealer.

SIBMICRODUR Microcement is a premixed product. Therefore, there is no need for any further mixing which results in a more efficient and productive workflow and additionally it reduces the risks and mistakes of on-site mixtures.

Once the packaging has been opened it can be sealed again after use. SIBMICRODUR has a long shelf-life which allows continued use at a later date.

Best of all, our Microcement mixtures are developed and manufactured using solvent free products with low VOC emissions so you can be confident of using a product without toxic or harmful substances.
