DevelopmentThis is YOUR sketchbook, so it should reflect YOU.

Start to take your sketchbook with you places, and draw as much as you can.

Doodles, poems, quotes, lyrics, found images, stickers, personal and found photographs…everything that COULD inspire you somehow, should be put in.

Think of it like a collection of ideas. It’s an ongoing process – not just about finished works of art.

Remember to date your drawings (in pencil) as you will be evaluated throughout the semester (ongoing).

Evaluation will be based on a variety of different drawings demonstrating your on-going process and personal investigation.

Stretch your imagination and try something new!Inspiration and ideas are always evolving. Grasp a concept and see where ittakes you…
