CHURCH MISSION NEWS

Our church is a collection point for the Jammin’ at HIPPIE JACK’S program. Hippie Jack’s delivers food to the poorest regions of the Upper Cumberland. Donations will be accepted from the community Tuesday through Friday of each week at the church. Let your friends and co-workers know.

We are collecting QUARTERS for use in making laundry packs to provide those in need with detergent and quarters to do a load of laundry at a laundromat. We have made and distributed about 100 of these in the last six months.

Twisted Stitcher's goal is to have a couple of finished and tagged PRAYER SHAWLS on the desk in the session room at all times. Please help our ministry by getting them to anyone who could benefit from prayers and the love of Christ. Please indicate on the list who the blanket went to and help us cover everyone. Thank you.

SUNDAY IN WORSHIP Sunday, July 28th, will be the 7th Sunday after Pentecost. The chancel color is green. Our scripture will be

Luke 11:1-13. Please plan to join us as we worship God and celebrate God’s love for us.

Worship Bags As always, we invite kids of all ages to take a worship bag located in the narthex. New items are placed

weekly in these bags to help kids follow along with worship. Please return bags after the service.

Youth, Parents - See What’s in Store! On August 11, youth and their families are invited to meet for dinner, get to know you time, time for families to share things they would like to see in this ministry, and to overview what exciting things will be happening in the Youth Ministry over the next year. We will meet from 4:00pm-6:00pm in the Family Life Center.

WINONA MEAL - The next Winona meal is scheduled for Tuesday, July 30. Please check the signup

sheet on the narthex table to see if you are able to bring something to help in providing this meal.
