ANIMAGIS (Experimental Animation)

Animation + Magis = A fun activity on making moving images, with special focus on stop-motion animation! Students are encouraged to EXPRESS their ideas and EXPERIMENT on different materials like, found objects, sand, toys, and more. If you want to make awesome animation, then AniMagis is your club!

ARNIS CLUB The AGS Arnis Club teaches the Filipino Martial Art of stick - fighting. Learn to defend yourself with or

without using weapons. Join the AGS Arnis Club and have fun through safe and interesting activities designed to make you stronger and faster.

ARTS & CRAFT CLUB Don’t worry if you think you’re not “artistic”! Here at A&C, we believe that every child is an artist! We will help you squeeze out those creative juices and use them in crafting practical projects.

Come and share your thoughts, skills, and and resources in a fun-filled environment! Also, prepare to join this year’s ACT production by making props.

ATENEO BOOK CLUB ABC offers various activities to encourage all of you to take advantage of reading in all its forms – books, magazines, e-books, graphic novels and more. We celebrate reading not just for learning but for fun, and more than that, the club conducts numerous activities such as bookstore visits, film viewing, readover and trivia games that would build happy and good relationship among its members.

ATENEO SOCIETY for ANIMAL

PROTECTION ASAP is an

organization for young Ateneans who will be keepers of man’s best friends, namely different kinds of animals. Members will further understand how to properly care for pets and animals such as dogs, cats, birds, etc. In the end, they will be able to spread the

joy of owning/caring for pets.

BADMINTON CLUB The goal is to develop the skills and attitude necessary to participate in badminton

activities in order to enhance overall wellness. Emphasis is on opportunity for increased physical and leisure activities.

BASEBALL CLUB Whether you’re a beginner or you’d like to take your game to the next level, this club was created just for you! Focus areas during training are batting, hitting, fielding, throwing, and base running.

BASKETBALL CLUB Club members receive basic instruction and encouragement to develop their game in a fun environment. The objective is to enhance

skills in basketball such as dribbling, passing and shooting. More importantly, they see the importance of teamwork and develop the concept of fair play through active participation in the mini-tournament.

BeeKlub (Ateneo BeeKeepers Club) Bee CURIOUS… Bee CARING… Bee Keepers of the Environment ! Learn about stingless bees, gardening, aquaponics. Harvest honey and create beeswax projects. Visit city farms, join science fairs, and more! Be part of the first Junior Beekeepers Club in the Philippines.

CINEMATENISTA CINEMATENISTA is a club that explores a wide-range of thought-provoking, classic movies through the eyes of the ideal Atenean Grade School graduate. We try to

judge if the flicks we watch are worthy of the brand "Atenean" in nature. We analyze and critique the films we watch, and give our ratings using what we've learned in our English classes

Exercises are focused on improving the player’s coordination, ball mastery, and 1v1 moves to prepare them to be complete individual players. There are also fun games to instill in the players their appreciation for the sport.

Come to the right place! Hobby Craft Club is devoted to model airplanes starting from the ground up, the perfect resource for beginners or those looking for some different techniques. While it focuses specifically on model planes, most of the techniques and practices can be applied to other quality model kits of tanks, ships and cars.

JUNIOR CRICKET CLUB Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played by 11 players in a team. It is a sport founded

in England and has similarities with baseball and softball. Learn the basic skills of catching, throwing, batting and bowling. Who knows you will be with the team who will eventually compete against junior cricket teams from other schools?

JUNIOR RED CROSS The Junior Red Cross is the Students’s wing of the Red Cross. It is a group movement organized within schools. Students who take part in Junior

Red Cross activities are known as ‘Juniors’. The teachers who guides the students in JRC activities are called “COUNSELLORS” If you pledge to care for your own health and that of others, to help the sick and suffering,

especially children and to look of all other children as your friends then join this crusade.

KARATEDO The Ateneo Club is an affiliate of the Association for the Advancement of Karatedo (AAK), the most experienced and the most distinguished karate organization in the Philippines. But for us, KARATEDO is not only winning medals in sports competitions here and abroad. It is about winning in life itself. It is about building strength of character through rigid karate training. It is beyond sports.

KARTUNISTA CLUB In Kartunista, every student will learn to improve his drawing and coloring skills. He will learn to use all kinds of art materials to create his very own poster, magazine, graphic novel,

PRO-MATH To join the club, a student must have a final mark (in Math) of at least 95% in the previous school year. Students who satisfy the grade

CLUB Taekwondo seeks to build among its students DISCIPLINE.

Discipline is not only limited to proper conduct, it also entails focus and self-mastery. ULTIMATE FRISBEE “Ultimate” is an exciting new sport that has boomed in the Philippines in recent years. It combines the cutting skills of soccer, high flying jumps of basketball and the catching of football but played with a 175gram plastic disc. What makes this sport unique though is that

games (even at the highest level) are self-officiated and is governed by the “Spirit of the Game”.

VENTURES is the freelance writing club and official literary publication of the Ateneo Middle School. We give out prompts and writing

games, hold workshops to help each other improve, and publish our members’ works in the regular Ventures magazine. Whether you’re into stories, poems, essays, or even comics or scripts, we’ve got something for you. Both new writers and pros welcome!
