    FOREWORD

    Migration is increasingly being acknowledged as an i

    approach and coordinated responses. States are not only dis

    at the bilateral level, but also regionally and lately in glob

    understood language is indispensable for such coordin

    cooperation to be successful. This glossary attempts to serve

    terms and concepts in the migration field, in an effort to pro

    furtherance of such international cooperation.

    This glossary has been some time in the making. Inform
