Study: The Chilean’s weight- height were measured by: Seca Model. According to Age (8-13), from 3ª to 7ª grade, and sex. Result: The obesity in schools is high. Boys: 13.1% Girls: 14.8% The prevalence of chilhood obesity among Chilean children is similar to those observe in USA. Study: They selected 19 food items. (FFQ) -Dairy products -Fruits -Vegetables -Legumes -Fish -Bread Result: -Dairy products: The amount consumed was 1.2- 1.5%. -Fruits&Vegetables: Low in all age groups (2.2, 2.8 serving/day). -Bread: The intake of bread was very high . -The intake of snacks was very high (boys ate 10 snacks per day and girls 8). Study: The students were asked about the nª of hours they spend on the screen and the frequency they spend doinf PA. Result: The amount of time is considerable in weekends and during schools days. Time/week: More than 4 hours.
