    MINING LEASE

    Surface rights have to be acquired first, if it is a

    private land.Application for Mining Lease to State Govt.

    Mining Plan to be approved by IBM.

    Lease grant by State Govt., Ind. &Comm. Dept.

    Royalty is to be paid @ Rs.45/-per MT ofLimestone.

    E.C to be obtained from MoEF, New Delhi.

    In this process EIA and EMP is to be submittedand P.H. is to be conducted.

    CFE and CFO is to be obtained fromAPPCB.

    MINING OPERATIONS

    DRILLING

    Deep hole Drilling 115 mm dia.

    Pneumatically operated Wagon drill machine.

    Air Compressors (Diesel driven) up to 12

    kg/sq.cm, and 500 cfm.Drilling pattern, square/staggered.

    Rate of drilling is 10 mts/hour

    Cost of Drilling is Rs.130 per mt.

    Production per metre is about 30 MT.

    Secondary Drilling 35 mm dia.

    Jack hammers with portable air compressors.

    Primary BlastingDeep holes -115mm

    Secondary Blasting 35 mm dia

    EXPLOSIVES

    Cap sensitive Slurry Explosives.

    Non cap sensitive- ANFO

    D-Fuse, Detonators-Electrical / Non Electrical

    shock tube. Charging of Drill holes and blasting.

    Blasting Machine/Exploder.

    Vacation of Danger zone-500 mts radius and other

    safety precautions. Blast induced Ground vibrations.

    LOADINGLoading the Limestone / waste into Dumpers

    / tippers by Hydraulic Excavators.

    Models and Capacity of the Excavators.

    Capacity Productivity

    PC 200 -One Cu.M 150 MT/hour.

    PC-300 -Two Cu.M 300 MT/hour.

    Excavators are driven by Diesel Engines.Major parts are a) Under carriage b) Super structure&cabin

    c) Boom d) Arm e) Bucket.

    Each operation comprises of a) Digging b) Boom Lifting

    c) Swing for un load d) Unloading e) Swinging for Digging.

    Total Cycle time 1.5 2.0 minutes.Digging height will decide the bench height.

    Transportation of Limestone/ waste is by Dumpers/Tippers.

    Auto Transmission, Bigger tyres 18X25

    Designed for Mines operations.

    HSD Consumption about 20 lts/hour

    Material handling per hour-120 MT with 1.5kms lead. Tippers : TATA/ A.L/AMW/FORCE Make :

    Capacity-17 MT/ 14 Cu.M; Engine 180 HP

    Manual gear shifting. Small tyres-10X20Not designed for Mines; More tyre punctures.

    HSD consumption 2kms/lt.
