From Our School Chaplain: - Chappy Riki Ph: 0407 6 95 207. Email: [email protected]

Hello Everyone,

It’s almost the end of the Term. Hope we all have an enjoyable break. Just a few updates to share with you all.

CHAPPY WEEK:

My Colouring In Competition to celebrate Chappy Week for students in Years P-3 and some older chil-dren has now been completed. Ma’s Pizza, Northern Beaches donated a large number of pizza vouchers for the best entries. Brumby’s Northern Beaches have donated vouchers again and Coles, Northern Beaches is providing a voucher with which to purchase prizes for 8 of the best entries. Colourful entries are now on display in the library. The major prize winners will be presented at Parade next Monday.

BREAKFAST CLUB:

Breakfast Club has risen to new heights of popularity with the introduction of ‘Toasties’ expertly made by Melita Parchert. The student helpers are very enthusiastic. The introduction of toasted sandwiches has added to the costs so thank you to all those that have donated fruit, eggs and other supplies. Coles Northern Beaches and Brumby’s Northern Beaches are continuing to support the Club. If you could donate some Milo, bottled juice, long life milk, jams, honey, and sturdy plastic cups and bowls it would be a great help. We can also use watermelon, cheese, ham and eggs.

DAY CAMP – SEPTEMBER HOLIDAYS:

Melita Parchert and I are in the process of organising a Day Camp to be run in the first week of the September holidays. More details as this project comes together.

SU WINTER CAMPS:

I have some brochures re: SU camps that will be happening around Queensland during the June/July hol-idays. There’s a ‘Footy Camp; on the Gold Coast, a ‘Vincent Shack’ camp in Townsville and a ‘Fishing Camp’ on Stradbroke Island to name a few. See me for details or go to https://www.suqld .org.au/camps

Have a great week!

Chappy Riki.
