Thank you for contacting the MINIME PHOTOGRAPHY studio.My name is Sarah McGregor. I am a multi award winning professional portrait PPhotographer based in Nelson, New Zealand. I am a qualied member and Master of the New Zealand Institue of Professional Photography, an acheivement I have obtained through years of working to perfect my craft. I specialise in natural light Newborn and Maternity Portraiture but love to capture the eeting Toddler age

and families too.

AAside from being a photographer, I’m a Mum to three wonderful children. Lochiel (8), Kilharn (5) and Violet (3). As a Mum, I know how much this session means to you. These moments in time are so easily forgotten - from our beautiful tiny newborns with their little hands and feet; through to the toddler age - and then before we know it, they have started school and they aren’t so little anymore!

Your Photo Session

1. Let’s Meet!We invite you to come into our studio and look at our vast range of prints,

albums and canvases - discuss colour options and view our extensive

photography prop range so we can plan our session. If you are too busy

to come in, we are happy to discuss by phone or email too!

2. Come in for your SessionWWe will plan a day for your session and this will take place at our home

studio for newborn sessions, or at your chosen location for family portraits.

3. Come and Choose your images One week following your session, we will meet again at our studio for you

to see your images! This is where you get to choose which items you would like,

and put together a wonderful package of ne art for your home.

1. Let’s MeetOur beautiful home studio is based in Richmond, Nelson. It is a wonderfully

light airy space, perfectly set up for natural light photography.

Come and have a look for yourself - sit back and have a freshly brewed coffeewhile we look over the samples of products and prints. Look through our collection of quality photography props offering a variety of textures and colours from beautiful neutrals through to pastel and rich bright tones.

AAt the time we meet we are happy to book you in for your session.

When to BookNewborn Sessions should be booked at your earliest convenience to ensure

we have a space available when your precious bundle arrives. The best time to photograph a newborn is before 14 days of age. Your newborn session fee includes a pregnancy session,

which is best photographed around 34 weeks of the pregnancy.

Family Sessions can take place any time of the day, any time of the year. We suggestplanning your family session around your children’s needs, avoiding nap times

so that they are nice and happy and willing for your session.

The Session FeeWe require payment of a session fee at the time of booking. This covers the time to

photograph the session. It does not include any products or les.

Session Fee: $150

2. Your Pregnancy SessionPregnancy sessions are offered at no additional charge when a newborn session

is booked. This is an opportunity for you to record that special moment

before baby arrives. Pregnancy sessions are best photographed around 34 weeks.

The session takes place at our studio in Richmond. We welcome you to bring

other children and your partner along. This session is twenty minutes long.

Alternatively you are welcome to book for a pregnancy session away from the studio.

WWe offer this for half price when a newborn session is booked. The cost is $75

and we allow up to one hour to photograph you and your family.

What to WearWe have a beautiful selection of designer photography gowns for you to use

during your session. We suggest bringing a white and a black singlet

along with you, a pair of jeans if you have them, and a favourite dress or clothing

item that you might like to be photographed in. We also suggest bringing a set of

whiwhite, neutral and black underwear so we can’t see them underthe gowns!

2. Your Newborn SessionOnce baby arrives, let the studio know and we will conrm a session day

and time for you. Newborn sessions take up to three hours, with lots of

feeding and cuddling time in between to get those nice sleepy images.

The best time to photograph your newborn is within the rst 14 days, or

within 14 days of their due date if born before 37 weeks.

Newborn sessions take place at our in home natural light studio.

Preparing for your SessionPreparing for your SessionThese few tips can help to get the best images during your session.

1. Feed baby as usual prior to arriving. We need to keep them topped up

with milk throughout so there is no need to hold off a feed.

2. A deep warm bath before leaving home is a great way to relax baby.

3. Dress baby in loose clothing that is easy to remove.

4. A pacier and expressed milk can work wonders in a session. If you

are already using these, we welcome you to bring them with you.

5. A sele5. A selection of clothing for yourself and any family members that

might like to join us for photographs

6. The studio gets very hot with heaters to keep your little bundle warm.

We suggest bringing something comfortable to wear,. It is also important

for breastfeeding Mums to keep themselves fed and hydrated so please

do remember to look after yourself . You are welcome to bring yourself snacks

and drinks.

2. Your Family SessionNelson has to be one of the best regions in New Zealand to have your family portrait taken.

From the beautiful sandy beaches to the colourful parks and forests, we have locations year round providing stunning backdrops

to compliment your portrait session.

I am a rm believer that your family portraits should evoke emotion and the connection and dynamics within your family.

OOur sessions are relaxed, capturing those special moments betweenyou and your loved ones.

When Should I book?Any time of the year is a perfect time for family portraits! We like to work with you,for a time that works best for your family. If you have small children, we suggestbooking around sleep time, giving your child enough time to have a great sleep,

something to eat and time to travel to your session.

What to WearClothing choice is an important factor for stunning family portraits. Don’t be afraid of colourand texture, as long as it compliments each other. Think about your chosen location

for your session and how your clothing will work with that backdrop.

Clothing options should be considered in adnvance of your session to give you plenty of time to bring your style together. I am happy to help you with this,

please just let me know.

3. Your Viewing Session

One week following your session, we invite you to meet us in our home studio

to view your portraits. This is a very exciting time, and we expect this session to take

up to one hour. This is not only the time to view, but your opportunity

to select the images you would like created into your own, handcrafted art.

Who Should I bring?

We accept payment by credit card online and bank deposit.

We are also happy to offer payment plan for your product purchases.

It is important that all nancial decision makers are available at this session

as we will be ordering your items at this time!
