Pastoral Counsel
The Parish Pastoral Council is a consultative body, pastoral in nature, because it strives to
discern the movement of the Holy Spirit among God's people in the parish. A Parish
Pastoral Council gives its help to the pastor in fostering pastoral activity; it investigates,
under the authority of the pastor, all those things which pertain to pastoral works to
ponder them, and to propose practical conclusions about them. It is essential that Council
meetings occur in the context of prayer and openness to the Holy Spirit, so that at all times
the common good will prevail.
Specifically, the Parish Pastoral Council's purpose is to enhance the process of:
• Pastoral planning
• Developing pastoral programs
• Improving pastoral services
• Evaluating the pastoral effectiveness of various programs and services.

YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULT
BOLD Youth Ministry
Mission Statement:
BOLD exists to expose teens to God’s love,
to promote a life of service to Christ,
and to provide a place for teens to enjoy each other’s company.
We strive to develop personal relationships with Christ that gives each teen ownership of
their faith. We are seeking to build a faith sharing Catholic community in which teens and
young adults can feel comfortable being themselves and can use their gifts and talents to
participate responsibly in the life, mission and work of the church. We provide
SPIRITUAL, SERVICE and SOCIAL opportunities.
CAST (Catholic Adults Supporting Teens) Team are adults who make a special
commitment to the teens and youth of the parish, to be examples and role models, to be
available and present in their lives. All adults of the parish are invited to help in this
ministry to teens, BOLD and BOLD Middle.
PST (Peer Servant Team) - Confirmed teens of the parish that are the youth leadership
team of BOLD Youth Ministry.

BOLD Middle Youth Ministry
It is a dynamic youth program offered by St. Elizabeth’s to support parents in the Christian
formation of their middle school age youth. The program offers middle school youth the
opportunity for human and spiritual growth in a fun and safe environment. Our program
recognizes the youth in this age range are on the edge of their teen years where they are
changing physically, mentally, and emotionally. Our mission is to help parents develop
boys and girls in the practice of the Catholic faith by keeping God's commandments,
celebrating the sacraments, developing a prayer life and by loving God and our neighbors.
