1. Accessing ESOL Maternity-related Issue Steps:
1. Access ESOL from MOM eService website.

And search for E-Service Maternity-related issue.

3. Select one to best describe the situation. Depending on the selected description, the

1) Enter the employment period and Child’s date of birth. Click on ‘Continue’ button.

2) Select the ‘YES’ or ‘NO’, and click on ‘Continue’ button. The page content will vary.
• Select ‘Yes’ for both ‘Is the Child Singaporean’ and ‘Are you legally married’, the page
will be displayed as below. Click on ‘Continue’ button, the main page ‘File a case against
your employer’ will be displayed. Refer to Figure 6.

• Select ‘NO’ for either ‘Is the Child Singaporean’ or ‘Are you legally married’, the page will
be displayed as below. The question ‘Are you employed in managerial or executive
position?’ will need to be answered.

• Select ‘YES’ for ‘Are you employed in managerial or executive position?’ The message
below will be displayed.

• Select ‘NO’ for ‘Are you employed in managerial or executive position?’, the page will be
displayed as below. Click on ‘Continue’ button, the main page ‘File a case against your
employer’ will be displayed. Refer to Figure 9.

3) Click on ‘Continue’ button (Refer to Figure 6, Figure 9), the main page ‘File a case
against your employer’ (Refer to Figure 17) will be displayed.

1) If tick the ‘Still in employment’ checkbox, the content will be displayed as below.

2) Enter the employment period and Child’s date of birth. Click on ‘Continue’ button.
• Based on the employment period and Child’s date of birth, if the issue not
straightforward, the message will be shown as below.

• If the issue is straightforward, the page is displayed as below.

3) Select the ‘YES’ or ‘NO’, and click on ‘Continue’ button. The page content will vary.

4) Click on ‘Continue’ button (Refer to Figure 6, Figure 9), the main page ‘File a case
against your employer’ (Refer to Figure 17) will be displayed.

2) Select the ‘YES’ or ‘NO’, and click on ‘Continue’ button. The page content will vary.

3) Click on ‘Continue’ button (Refer to Figure 6, Figure 9), the main page ‘File a case
against your employer’ (Refer to Figure 17) will be displayed.

4. Click on ‘Continue’ button (Refer to Figure 6, Figure 9), the Singpass login page will be
displayed.

Prerequisite: Please ensure that you have a valid SingPass ID and authorized access to
the system. Should you encounter any problem logging into ESOL, please contact LRD
to assist you.
5. Enter both your SingPass ID and SingPass and click the button ‘Submit’. The following
Case Details page will be displayed. (Refer to Section 2)
2. File a case The following ‘Case Details’ page is displayed after successful authentication via SingPass.
Refer to Section 1.

Tip:
Click on the ‘Cancel’ link to cancel the application and return to the previous page. Click on the ‘Reset’ link to clear the entered details on the current form. Click on the ‘Save As Draft’ to save the application details before submission.
Steps:
1. For Case Details part, select and enter the type, description, duration and period of
arrears, then click on ‘Add’. To edit or remove the case details, by clicking ‘Edit’ or
‘Remove’ to process.

2. For Termination Details part, the page content will vary as
below.
� ‘Is there an agreed required termination notice? ’---‘YES’, the question ‘What is the
agreed required termination notice period?’ need to be answered.

3. For Employment Details part, the page content will vary depending on Employment
Type.

4. For Additional Information part, select and enter the Allowance Type, Amount, click on
‘Add’, to edit or remove this Allowance by clicking ‘Edit’ or ‘Remove’ to process. The
page content will vary depending on ‘No. of rest days/week’.

5. Click on ‘Save As Draft’ button (Refer to Figure 19), a pop up window will be displayed.
Click on the ‘OK’ to save the form details before submission. You will see the message
showing the draft record saved successfully.

6. Click on the ‘Continue’ button (Refer to Figure 19), the following ‘Company Details’ page
will be displayed.

7. Click on the ‘Search’ button to search a company name, it will display a ‘Company
Lookup’ page in a separate new window.
8. Enter the name of the company involved and click the ‘Search’ button.

9. Click on ‘Get address’ button on ‘Company Details’ page after entering the Postal Code
(Refer to Figure 15), if there is an address found for this Postal Code, the company
address will be loaded into Text Box. If no address found for this Postal Code, there is a
pop up window as below.

10. Click on ‘Add another’ to add another Contact Number.
11. Enter all mandatory fields and click the ‘Continue’ button (Refer to Figure 30). The
following ‘Employee Details’ page will be displayed.

12. Enter all mandatory fields and click the ‘Continue’ button. The following Supporting
Documents page will be displayed.

13. If tick the ‘I do not have a copy of my Employment Contract’ checkbox, the Employment
Contract is not a mandatory file. The page content will be displayed as below.

14. Click on ‘Browse’ button to browse the Employment Contract you want to upload. Click
on ‘Upload’ button to upload the file.
15. Click on ‘Browse’ button to browse the other document you want to upload. Enter the file
description and click on ‘Upload’ button to upload the file.
16. After file uploaded successfully, it will show the uploaded file description and name. If
you want to delete the uploaded file, you can click the ‘Delete’ link (Refer to Figure 37).

17. Click on the ‘Continue’ button. The following ‘Review & Submit’ page will be displayed
(Refer to Figure 38).
18. Clicking on the ‘Make Changes’ button will redirect the user to the respective tab, for the
necessary amendment.
19. Click on ‘Print Draft’ button to print the draft out.
20. Click on the ‘Submit’ button, the following acknowledgement page will be displayed
(Refer to Figure 39).

21. Click on the ‘Print Acknowledgement’ button to print the acknowledgement form.
Note: User must remember to print the acknowledgement.
22. Click on the ‘View Transaction History’ button to return to the ESOL Dashboard (Refer to
Section 3).

3.1 Case List With reference to Item 1 in Figure 42, the case list page will
� Display a list of all cases submitted by user to date.
� List only drafts created after the implementation of ESOL.
� List cases sorted in ascending order of submission date by default.
� Upon clicking on the header, sort the list by the values (either ascending or descending
order) under the column, followed by submission date.
� Upon clicking on a draft link, redirect the user to the registration page which is pre-
populated with previously saved entries.
� Upon clicking on a submitted case link, it will display the case registration form in a
separate new window. Refer to Figure 41.

3.2 File Case With reference to Item 2 in Figure 42, the ‘File Case’ button allows a user to file a case against
the employer. By clicking on ‘File Case’ button, it will redirect to page Figure 2.To process filing
a case, refer to Section 1 and Section 2.
3.3 Delete With reference to Item 3 in Figure 42, the ‘Delete’ button allows a user to delete drafts saved in
the system.

Note: This feature is not applicable for cases which have been submitted to MOM.
Steps:
1. Select previously saved drafts from the list.
Tip: Allows multiple selections.

3.4 Pagination Controls With reference to Item 4 in Figure 42, the pagination controls allow user to traverse
through the pages in the case list.

Tip: The list can only accommodate up to 3 records per page. It will be easier to search by
sorting the list first, before traversing through the pages.
