Description The o%*ective of the Scheme is to create awareness amongst micro ; small

enterprises a%out the strengths and wea+nesses of their operations and also theircredit worthiness. The Scheme is implemented % ational Small Industries

premium is paid % the Coir 8oard to the Insurance Compan selected % calling

Textile Industry - Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme (TUFS)

Ministry of Te#tiles introduced the Technology upgradation fund scheme $T%&S' forte#tiles and ute industry in (pril )*** to facilitate induction of state+of+the+ arttechnology by the te#tile units.

The benefits under the scheme include"

- interest reimbursement of the normal interest charged by the lending agency on TL,or

- e#change fluctuation $interest / repayment' from the base rate on &CL, or
