International Support:Georgia actively cooperates with thestrongest financial Institutions, which in itsturn only collaborate with stable partners.

During 2000-2014 number of internationalfinancial institutions provided considerableinvestment for highway construction andfor implementation of other road projectswith total of more than 1.5Bln. USD.

Expansion of Tbilisi Metro:

Construction of Vazha Phavela-State University section started in 1985 and stopped in 1993 due tofinancial problems.

Tube is cut in one directions, including platform, escalator pit and exits.

The project considers cutting of the tube, installation of escalator tracks and provision of relevantinfrastructure.

Project is being implemented under the credit of Asian Development Bank (ADB)Estimated cost of the project is 45 mln. USD.

Tender procedures – 2014 year.

Completion time of the project - 2016 year.

About the company The state owns 100% of company’s shares and at present the right to manage the company is

transferred to the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure.

The company provides water supply and sewer network services throughout Georgia for urbansettlements, except Tbilisi, Mtskheta, Rustavi and Autonomous Republic of Adjara.

Mission of the company is a continues and 24-hour drinking water supply to population,arrangement of water supply and drainage systems in all regional centers and cities throughoutGeorgia and bring this system closer to the world standards.

To attract investors the Government of Georgia takes responsibility to:

Provide waste management plant with solid domestic waste determined in advance.

Ensure arrangement of dumpsite infrastructure.

Find and transfer to stakeholders the lands required for plant for long-term leasing .

* Research to identify the number of dumpsites and zones of their coverage was carried out underFinancial Agreement between Germany and Government of Georgia, which demonstrates that Georgianpopulation has increased over the past 10 years and minor urbanization took place.
