Construction of Vazha Phavela-State University section started in 1985 and stopped in 1993 due tofinancial problems.
Tube is cut in one directions, including platform, escalator pit and exits.
The project considers cutting of the tube, installation of escalator tracks and provision of relevantinfrastructure.
Project is being implemented under the credit of Asian Development Bank (ADB)Estimated cost of the project is 45 mln. USD.

About the company The state owns 100% of company’s shares and at present the right to manage the company is
transferred to the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure.
The company provides water supply and sewer network services throughout Georgia for urbansettlements, except Tbilisi, Mtskheta, Rustavi and Autonomous Republic of Adjara.
Mission of the company is a continues and 24-hour drinking water supply to population,arrangement of water supply and drainage systems in all regional centers and cities throughoutGeorgia and bring this system closer to the world standards.
