************************************************
There are many “useful ministries” available to our parishioners, just call the rectory @ 761-5456 to explore all opportunities for any of our ministries, such as:
Want better way to know, love and serve God? Eucharistic Adoration is the adoration of Jesus Christ Himself, present in the
Holy Eucharist. During Adoration, the Eucharist is exposed in a beautiful golden vessel called a monstrance. From the altar, our Lord gazes at us in the Eucharist wanting us to give Him our hearts, burdens, sufferings, joys and sorrows so that He may transform and sanctify us. In the silence of our hearts, we
are able to go before Him to love and adore Him simply because He is God. St. Ann’s offers Eucharistic Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every Tuesday from 12:30pm to 8:00pm. We ask that you consider committing yourself to one hour each Tuesday in Eucharistic Adoration. It will definitely be an hour well spent Please contact Jill at 452-0566 for more information or to schedule your prayful time.
MORE USEFUL MINISTRIES: “CIRCLE YOUR CALENDAR – THIRD SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH FROM 9:00 AM TO 11:00 AM – RECYCLING DAY. Please bring your newspapers & aluminum cans to be recycled. Where – behind the Rectory, just off the alley. If we had more truck space, we would collect cardboard also (Hint!). If the weather on the third Saturday of the month is below 32 degrees and/or snowing, there will be no recycling. I am always in need of additional folks with pick ups or an able body individual who is willing to give 3 hours once a month toward this endeavor to be good stewards of God’s environment. Blessings all – PJ Sheldon.
There are new yarn choices available at the parish rectory for knitting or crocheting of PRAYER SHAWLS. Stop in Tuesday thru Friday anytime between 10am and 2pm to pick up your project. Do you hear the call? More Angels ( male, female no age limits) needed
to keep our cathedral beautiful. Cleaning is every Friday after the 12:30 Mass. The rotation is usually only once a month, taking about one hour for each team . We also need a few more cleaners for back-up. Please call Bobbe Ann Theony at 452-6130 to volunteer with
cleaning.
THIS YEAR, ST. ANN’S WILL BE ORDERING POINTSETTIAS THRU ELECTRIC CITY FLORIST. IF INTERESTED IN DONATING MONEY FOR THESE FLOWERS, PLEASE SEND CASH CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE RECTORY ALONG WITH THE NAME(S) OF THOSE IN WHOSE MEMORY YOU ARE MAKING THE
