MiniVAN Canvasser Guide

To download the app for iOS, open the App

Store on the home screen.

For  Android,  skip  to  slide  5.    

Search for “MiniVan Touch.”

The app should look like this. Click “Get” and then

“Install” to download.

Enter your Apple ID password. After you do this, the app will begin

downloading.

To  download  the  app  for  Android,  open  

the  Play  Store  on  the  home  screen.    

Search  for  “MiniVan  Touch.”  

The  app  should  look  like  this.  Click  it  to  go  to  the  download  

screen.  

Press  “Install.”  

Press  “Accept”  to  download  the  app.  

If you don’t have an ActionID yet, Select

“Create Your Action ID” to make one.

Fill out your information to create your ActionID and log into the app.

If you already have an account, just open the

app and log in using your ActionID.

Enter your information to log in.

Enter the list number given

to you by your canvass

leader.

The default screen is an alphabetical list of doors

you will be knocking. Click on the address to see the

names of residents.The building icon

indicates the residence is an

apartment building. It also tells you how many units it has.The number of circles

indicate number of voters.

Click on a specific resident to see the

script, survey questions, and collect

data.

Select “Show Script Text” in the bottom left

corner to see the script.

Click on the specific question

for a list of possible

responses. Select a response to

record it.

Slide the switch above the script to

“N” if you were unable to speak

with a voter. Then, record the reason why from the list.

Select the details tab at the top of the

screen to see more information about a

voter.

On the default screen, you can press the

three lines in the right hand corner to choose

different views and options.

Selecting “People” will show you an

alphabetical list of voters. Click on

the voter’s name to see the script.

Selecting “Maps” will show you a

street view of the doors you are

knocking. Click on a home to see

voters and scripts.

Click “Sync” to transfer

your collected data to the

VAN.
