MINUTES OF PRE-BID MEETING HELD ON 20.04-2020 REGARDING THE GENERALIZATION OF

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE PROCUREMENT ESTABLISHMENT OF STATE OF THE ART

HOSPITAL LAUNDRY FOR SOCIAL SECURITY TEACHING HOSPITAL MULTAN ROAD LAHORE FOR

THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2019-20.

Minutes of the purchase committee/Technical committee meeting regarding the Pre-Bid

meeting held on 20-04-2020 in conference room of SSTH in the presence of representatives of firms and

committee members, end-users under the chairmanship of Medical Superintendent SSTH Multan Road

Lahore. The following attended the meeting.

The agenda of the Pre-Bid meeting was to generalize the Technical specifications of

establishment of state of the art hospital laundry to be purchased for Social security teaching hospital

Multan Road Lahore for the financial year 2019-20 with consensus of the firms representatives and

Technical committee.

Meeting was started at 11:00 AM under the Chairmanship of Medical Superintendent,

above mentioned committee members and representatives of the firms.

04 Firms represented their reservations on different laundry equipment and accessories

items mentioned below in tabulated form which were discussed accordingly with comments of the

committee mentioned in remarks column.

Decisions taken in Pre-Bid Meeting held on 20-04-2020 against representations from various firms for the Tender of

establishment of state of the art hospital laundry for Social Security Teaching Hospital Multan Road Lahore

Capacity of drying tumbler: 50-60- Kg It should be 30 Kg or more because dryer capacity is always half

Nickle - plated cylinder It should be Chrome plate type instead of nickel – p lated “Nickle

plating is corrosion resistant but tarnishes easily. “Nickle is not

as hard as chrome and will age nicely with normal use. Usually

the metal is copper plated before


the nickel is applied. … The benefits of chrome are that it is

very durable, corrosion resistant, and won’t tarnish”

2- The advertised Capacity / load is 50-60 kg it is requested that please change this capacity as 49-60 it will not affect the efficiency of equipment but it will increase the competition which is good for institute.

For Boiler installation; MS / Copper / SS pipes will be used as per standard. The complete flooring of laundry with anti – bacterial sheet / Epoxy flooring, anti bacterial paint on walls, dumpa fall ceiling will be installed.

The partitioning will be made with 2mm Aluminum sheet for dirty and clean zone as per drawing.

Floor cleaning / polishing machine will be the part of furnishing.

Thermo disinfect able shoes (20 pairs).

Scope of air conditioning will be provided by the vendor for dirty and clean zone with required pressure to the institute which will be implemented by HVAC contractor.

The furnishing of all rooms including changing, sorting , sitting, waiting etc will also be done along with chairs and tables etc.

Computer I7 qty 01 with table and chair along with Laser printer branded, UPS (10/15 MINUTES).

Office table 02/ and 10 chairs will be provided.MS cabinet/Almeria qty 02 for the storage of files etc.

Wooden cabinet with draws to keep gloves, head cap, mouth caps, shoes etc.

All types of disposables for washer for 50 cycles as starter kit.


Connection with the steam boiler of all the machines will be the responsibility of the vendor.
