MACE: MIRA Autonomous Control Equipment, draws on MIRA’s unique engineering capability to provide modular based remote and autonomous UGV platforms for a wide range of applications.

Based on the in-service Defender platform, the MACE 3 Sherpa provides dismounted close combat infantry with logistical support. The Sherpa can be manned or unmanned and has a high load capacity that can be configuerd for various tasks. The Sherpa has various modes of operation including remote control, ‘come to me’ and ‘follow me’.

MACE 2 and MACE 3 Guardsman safely extend perimeter awareness of a military base or border including hidden and dead ground, providing essential patrol and protection capability.

MACE 2, MIRA’s primary research and development platform is used extensively for the continued development of new technology. The platform’s high mobility coupled with its large payload capacity enables our engineers to develop any capability requirement.

Currently in service with the British army, the MACE 3 Pathfinder enables the user to safely conduct route proving tasks using the fully integrated Exponent array. The Pathfinder is based on the in-service SN2 and has remote and autonomous modes of operation.
