MiRoCODE Installation and Run for Windows
Section 1 - Install Docker Toolbox for Windows 1. Go to https://docs.docker.com/toolbox/toolbox_install_windows and download the
appropriate Docker Toolbox. 2. Run DockerToolbox.exe from your Downloads, this takes a few minutes,
answering Yes in any dialogs that pop up.
Section 3 - Download MiRoCODE 1. Download the MiRoCODE launcher folder by going to this link and selecting
MiRoCODE for Windows: http://labs.consequentialrobotics.com/miro-e/software/
2. Unzip the MiRoCODE folder microcode-launcher, found in your Downloads folder.
If you don’t have rar or another compress application, in Windows double click to view or right click extract to folder.
3. Within the unzipped mirocode-launcher folder click mirocode-windows-factory.exe to start the launcher. Answer Yes to any pop-ups.
4. Press Start and wait until MiRoCODE has downloaded, this may take up to 20 minutes on the first use, and 1-2 minutes on subsequent uses.
5. When ready the Launch button will be enabled. 6. Click Launch and your browser will open and display MiRoCODE ready to use
Section 3 – Shut down MiRoCODE
1. When you have finished a session, we recommend strongly pressing Stop on the MiRoCODE application to stop running the program, this will stop your device running too slowly.
Section 4 – Reopening MiRoCODE
1. Once Docker and the MiRoCODE image have been initially downloaded, all subsequent launches are simple. Simply open MiRoCODE Launcher, press Start and then after approximately a minute, press Launch.
