Poster The stars in the background are a clue to the audience that this film may be a sci-fi, it also gives them an idea of the setting (space).

Company logosDate of release and tagline.

The image of the Earth suggests the film is set on earth. How the earth has been place makes it look overpowered or threaten by the eye above it, this gives a clue to the audience that the earth may be in danger.

Part of the eye is cracked showing this character in the film might fall apart or even be taken over by someone or something.

The colour scheme of red and blue creates a hot and cold feel to the poster suggesting that they may be great conflict between characters.

“Will you believe her?” is the tagline for this film. It goes well with the title “I found them” as it tells the audience a character in this film finds something or someone however we don’t know for sure, so will we believe her? This makes the audience want to see the film as it draws them in and makes them care about what happens in the film.

The fact the eye is in space gives a the audience a clue to the plot of the film, suggesting someone has be taken way from earth.

Green stands out from the colour scheme of black red and white, grabbing peoples attention.

The stills of other films shows the audience what's in the magazine, making them want to read it. This also tells the audience this is a film magazine.

The word “exclusive” makes the audience feel they are getting something unseen.

Trailer

The logos at the begging of the trailer give it the feel that it's a real film also having clips in the trailer showing awards it has received will also created an impression that’s its real.

I have put in codes in my trailer to give a clue to the genre of my film. For example the stars at the begging show it’s a sci-fi. I have a scene at where there is a conversation between two characters on the phone; this sets the relationship between them and some of the plot. On scene is set in the woods giving a clue to the audience that this film may contain aliens as I found in my research that most alien films are set in woods.

The blood and banging sounds will be a code to the audience that this film will have horror elements in it.
