What Does “Endangered” mean?

• An endangered species is an organism in danger of disappearing from the earth, if their living situation is not improved.

Causes of Endangerment:

– Hunting– Habitat Loss– Pollution– Inability to adapt

How Can We Help?

• Don’t litter. A clean environment leads to clean and healthy animals.

• Write letters to representatives about your concern.

• Have your school adopt an animal.• Raise money for zoo’s and preservations for

endangered species.• Learn…the more you know…the more you can

help!
