MISS information Car wash for Team Jak raises more than £250 A CAR wash carried out by the firefighters at Bathgate Fire station and Miss West Lothian contestants has raised £255.65 for the Jak Trueman charity, Team Jak. The money will go towards realising Jak’s dreams of creating a purpose-built building, Jak’s Den, which will assist cancer patients and their families and others affected by cancer or debilitating illnesses, and bring the wider community together providing a hub for everyone from West Lothian and beyond. After receiving the money, Jak’s mum, Allison, said: “That’s fabulous, thanks so much to everyone.” Team Jak is the chosen charity of the 2015 Miss West Lothian event Happiness Hack is our Miss West Lothian 2016 sponsor A BIG thanks to the Happiness Hack , who are the sponsors of Miss West Lothian 2016. They take over from 1st Choice, who were the sponsors for the last two years. We look forward to a long and very productive link with the Happiness Hack. Robyn all set to represent South Africa at Face of the Globe event MISS West Lothian, Robyn Ronaldo, has been selected as a grand finalist for the international beauty pageant Face of the Globe. Robyn will be going back to her roots to represent South Africa. She will be part of a team of girls selected to represent South Africa to compete against the rest of the world. Miss West Lothian 2016 entrant Amanda Henderson is holding a series of fundraisers so that she can visit Tanzania to help build houses for orphaned children.
