Smith Mission 29 - The Fall Good work on recovering the data core, the intelligence spooks have been working hard under the whip of Grand Admiral Thrawn and the rising leaders of the First Order. They’ve only been able to recover a small portion of the data so far. It seems that the destroyers of that station exited a hyperspace window within firing range of the station and immediately opened fire. The shields were at maximum and began to collapse in a matter of minutes. Internal scanners indicated that the shield generators overloaded with such intensity that they triggered the first of several chain reactions that lead to the detonation of the outpost’s main power generator. Unfortunately the explosion of the ship you liberated the date core from has inflicted just enough damage to corrupt the outpost’s exterior sensor data. We are in awe at the destruction this aggressor has caused, that base was heavily armed and was capable of staving off a small fleet. The spooks who have reviewed the data are nervous, I haven’t seen them this nervous since Lord Vader toured their facility. In addition to this loss we have recently lost contact with Admiral Iman Cheervok, commanding the Raider-Class Corvette The Fortifier. No transmissions were made, the ship’s subspace transponder just went dark. If this is the work of the same aggressors who attacked our outpost the odds of their survival have been calculated at 3,720,000 to 1. For the record that’s one thousand times worse than the odds of successfully navigation an asteroid field. Despite this you’re being ordered to the Gree system where The Fortifier was on patrol. Three DX-9 class imperial transport vessels will accompany you and, should the crew be found alive, be used to evacuate them to safety. Win Condition Rescue Admiral Iman Cheervok from the wreckage of The Fortifier. Additional The Fortifier is completely crippled, a small swarm of ships have been detected around her hull - still firing. The scanners can’t make sense of the vessels, they don’t identify anywhere in the database. These must be the alien aggressors, proceed with cation. A DX-9 transport must end its maneuver overlapping the base of The Fortifier in order to dock. Once docked it may still be fired upon and must wait three complete rounds before undocking and proceeding back towards the Imperial starting edge of the table. Once within Range 3 of the starting edge it will jump to hyperspace and save the crew of The Fortifier. True to his nature, Admiral Iman Cheervok is refusing to be evacuated. His short-range communications indicate that he will be the last to board the DX-9 transports or go down with his ship. His survival is not optional, ensure all three DX-9 transports dock and remove the crew. Alternatively VT-49 Decimators, Lambda-Class Shuttles, and Nu-Class Shuttles may dock. Three ships, in any combination, must dock and detach. The third ship to do so will gain a token indicating the presence of Admiral Iman Cheervok and thus the capacity to win or lose depending on its longevity. Win Condition Rescue Admiral Iman Cheervok from the wreckage of The Fortifier.

Modification (MOD): Micro-Singularity Bio-Core: When defending, you roll zero defense dice and add evade tokens to your ship equal to your current agility value. Then decrease your agility value by 1 (to a minimum of zero) until the end of the round. After the attack has been resolved clear all evade tokens assigned to your ship.

Titles (TITLE): • Command & Control Vessel: Large Ship Only. You may add a second Plating upgrade slot to your ship.

• Squadron Leader: Small Ship Only. You may add a second Organic Systems upgrade slot to your ship.

Plating Upgrades (PU): Bio-Synthetic Mesh: No Restriction. Whenever you receive, are dealt, or would flip-up a critical damage card; if it is a ship trait flip it facedown without resolving its effect.

Regenerative Skin: Large Ship Only. At the end of the combat phase roll a D6. Either discard that many facedown damage cards or flip half (rounding down) face-up damage cards facedown.

Organic Systems Upgrade (OSU): Neurological Link: Small Ship Only. Once per round when you are declared the target of an attack you may perform a 2 speed barrel roll and force the attacker to redeclare their attack.

Bio-Kinetic Shielding: No Restriction. Action: Apply two shield tokens to your ship, even if this exceeds your shield value. At the start of the end phase discard all shield tokens that exceed your shield value.

Cannon Upgrades (CU): Acrid Bio-Cannon: No Restriction. Attack: Value 3, Attack 1 enemy ship inside your primary firing arc at Ranges 1-3. If this attack hits deal 1 corrosion token to your opponent. Then cancel all dice results.

Corrosion Token: At the end of the combat phase roll one attack die for each token on your ship and suffer the results.

Crew Upgrades (CREW): Bonded Gunner: No Restriction. After performing an attack, if that attack did not hit, immediately perform a primary weapon attack against the nearest enemy ship within your firing arc.

Blood Lust Warrior: No Restriction. After executing a maneuver that collides with one or more enemy ships you may discard this card to deal 1 corrosion token to all enemy ships touching your base.

Nexus Tactician: No Restriction. Whenever an enemy ship within Range 1 performs a focus action you may assign yourself a free focus token.

Apex Upgrade Ramped Ion Pulse Cannon:

Attack [Target Lock]: Value 3, Spend 3 Ion Tokens from this card and a Target Lock on the defender. If this attack hits, assign the defender one face-up damage card, one Critical Ion Token, and reduce its agility value to zero until the end of the combat phase. You may not perform another attack this round. The defender is automatically hit by this attack if, as an additional cost to perform the attack, you clear all focus and evade tokens from your ship and assign yourself two Ion Tokens.

Action: Add 1 Ion Token to this card to a maximum of 3.

For each Ion Token stored on this card reduce the speed of your maneuver by 1 (to a minimum of 0). You may not assign red maneuvers if this card has any Ion Tokens stored on it. If the adjusted speed of your maneuver is 0 assign your ship a stress token.

Critical Ion Token: Planning Phase: The owner does not assign a maneuver dial to this ship. Activation Phase: The owner moves the ship as if it were assigned a white hard 1

maneuver, the player who supplied the Critical Ionization chooses the direction. After executing this maneuver, remove all Critical Ion Tokens and Shield Tokens from the ship. It may perform actions, if able, as normal.

Combat Phase: The ship may attack with half of its attack value (rounded to the nearest whole number (X.5 or greater rounds up and anything less than X.5 rounds down). The ship regains its full attack value after the round in which it clears the Critical Ion Token.
