Next week is the Catholic Home Missions Appeal. Today, over 40% of dioceses in the United States are considered mission territories because they are unable to fund the essential pastoral work their communities need. Your support of this appeal helps ease the struggle of these dioceses. Please prayerfully consider how you can support this appeal. More information can be found at www.usccb.org/home-missions.

Most Holy Trinity “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son…” JOHN 3:16. Is your love conditional? Is there a price others have to pay to receive your love and forgiveness? Are you generous with your time, skills, money and possessions? If you give someone something, do you expect something in return? Do you give your time freely or do you “fit it in” when it’s convenient for you? God desires a personal relationship with us so much that He gave us His Son, unconditionally! Pray for a grateful and generous heart. Learn how you can show your gratitude and thanks by supporting your parish and contact The Catholic Foundation. Visit www.catholic-foundation.org/development for more information.

For an updated listing of resources to get help, opportunities to provide help, and ways for families to strengthen their faith amid the COVID-19 pandemic, visit www.columbuscatholic.org/coronavirus-response.

Our ParishVolunteer Seamstresses NeededTo help with the need to sew face masks for hospitals due to the Coronavirus COVID-19, Karyl Holt Aranda, a parishioner of St. Mark Church, is organizing a team of seamstresses who are willing to donate their time and talent. Working out of their own homes, some can cut the patterns and others can sew the masks. For more information, please contact Karol Holt at: [email protected].

If you need a face mask, please call the parish office at 740-653-1229.

The publication Word Among Us and Holy Water, (bring your own containers) weekly bulletin are available outside by the front door. Please only come if you must make a necessary trip out.

The Knights of Columbus is an international Order of Catholic men who are called to lead with faith, protect our families, serve others and defend values in a busy changing world. Living I Do: One way to grow in friendship with your spouse is to pursue a common goal. Maybe this means taking on a hobby to spend intentional time together, but it could also mean discerning a call to serve together. Is there something God is asking you to do or give as a couple? Pay attention to the needs of your community and pray for God’s guidance; He will show you.

Last week was to be the collection for St. Vincent de Paul Society. Because of the virus they were unable to be here for the 5th Sunday collection. Even though they were not here to do a collection, any monies that could be sent to them would be greatly appreciated. Their store has been closed since March for remodeling and the virus. They will reopen July 1.
