UBC BodyWorks
BodyWorks is a renowned centre of excellence for fitness education and
programming focused on wellbeing and the prevention of chronic disease in middle age
and older adults.
In a non-competitive, friendly environment, UBC staff, faculty and the public are
supported in reaching their health and fitness goals. In addition to our UBC location,
our fitness classes are taught at Dunbar, Kerrisdale, and Kitsilano community fitness
centre locations.
BASIC Includes general access to the fitness centre (not including classes) 1 month pass: $594 month pass: $200 total 8 month pass: $360 total *12 month pass: $415/year OR $40/month*Receives two free training sessions
BASIC PLUS Includes general access to the fitness centre(not including classes) and 6 personal training sessions listed below. 4 month pass including:$95/month (6 sessions with trainer) $110/month (6 sessions with senior trainer)
All Memberships and Drop-In Passes are non-refundable and non-transferrable

STAFF Our staff are certified personal trainers, current students, and graduates of Kinesiology with specialized knowledge in working with aging and clinical populations cleared for exercise.

Our certified Personal Trainers offer assessments & individualized programs to help you meet your fitness goals. Sessions can be in a private 1-on-1 setting or semi-private with your friends or family members. Senior trainers have additional training & experience. Intro package for new clients: 33% off first 3 sessions*

This class focuses on the development of cardiovascular health with 30 minutes of cycling to start and then 20 minutes of functional movement exercises that focus on joint mobility and stability to finish.$115.50 (14 classes)/ $132.00 (16 classes)
This program focuses on the development of functional strength, flexibility and cardiovascular health through 30 minutes of cyling and 20 minutes of functional movement and mobility. Fitness consultation required prior to participation.$98.00 (14 classes)/$112.00 (16 classes)
