Our trip to Spain was blessed by the Lord. What a privilege to be able to join in worship of our Savior Jesus Christ, with the multicultural congregation in Spain. Though almost every Central and South American country is represented along with Spain, and none have lost their distinctive flavor, the blending together in worship was truly a heavenly experience. There will be no discord in heaven, and it is a joy to see that being practiced here on earth. Unity is the oil of gladness which allows the Holy Spirit to flow unhindered through our lives to accomplish the work of God.

Although services didn’t begin until Saturday; we arrived early to accustom our ears and tongues to the sounds of Spanish again. After so long without even speaking the language Mike was nervous about preaching in Spanish. Even earnest prayer didn’t totally quiet his fears. It was sheer dependence on God, and his new determination to walk through every open door, that impelled him to accept the invitation. He faced his fears head-on. God’s anointing was evident, and his Spanish fluency returned. God is certainly leading us in many unforeseen paths to witness His sovereignty, and trust His provision.

Dear Family, Friends, & Sponsors,

We returned to Italy on November 6th. On our last Sunday with the Apostolics of Vicenza we were presented with a beautiful plaque for our time of service with them. Our hearts will be forever knit in love with theirs, and we will continue to support one another with our prayers. It is wonderful to feel so connected to the body of Christ spread abroad in so many different countries and settings.

Beautiful architecture of the ancient cities. Spain (left) and Italy (right).

Thank you for your prayers for Pastor Rosenfeld. He also has returned to Italy, and is in good health; however, was quarantined until the 21st. We left for Norway on the 18th so we did not have the privilege of meeting him. His family and church are looking forward to celebrating a homecoming and Thanksgiving Dinner with him and the other husbands and fathers who have also been absent.

Norway is our field of labor for the next three months. While the Speer family attends conference and visits with family in the USA, the work here is in our charge. Returning on January 5th, Betty and Sam will fly out again on the 13th to Uganda, where they will continue to teach and encourage the ministers there that they baptized last year in Jesus’ name. They are scheduled to return to Norway on February 10th. We believe that at that time we will be able at long last to return to Ireland, but we have learned to say “The Lord willing” we will do this or that. He alone knows where He leads us; it’s our privilege to follow. We are blessed to be in His service! Mike & Jan
