Educational Objectives
We work in conjunction with our intergrated high school to foster an environment
where our students can develop a zest for life in line with our school motto’s vision
of “Independence,Cooperation and Diligence”.
Chronological Overview
Apr.1947
East Junior High School and First Junior High School are to be merged as Mitsugi Junior High School under the new education reform.
Apr.1969
The merger begins and Mitsugi Municipal changes the names of the junior high schools.First Junior High School is renamed East Kyojo,and Mitsugi Junior High School is renamed West Kyojo.
Apr.1971
East Kyojo and West Kyojo are abolished,and Mitsugi Junior High School is relocated to its current location where it adopled the school song.
Apr.2001
Mitsugi Junior High School and Mitsugi High School are specified as intergrated schools.
Mar.2005
The school is renamed to Onomichi Municipal Mitsugi Junior High School due to the merger of Mitsugi Municipal and Onomichi Municipal.
Mar.2007
The school’s softball club win the championship at the All-Japan Junior High School Softball Tournament where they participated as the prefectural representative.
Aug.2014
The school’s softball club win the Championship at the 36th national Junior High School Softball Tounament.
