Mosquito Joe’s Services

The goal of Mosquito Joe is to provide 100% customer satisfaction and “Make Outside Fun Again” through the extermination of outdoor pests such as ticks, fleas, and especially mosquitoes.

The well-trained exterminators at Mosquito Joe create specific solutions for customer’s outdoor areas, applying barrier spray to keep the areas pest free. Mosquito Joe also services for special events to keep customer’s guests pest free.

Mosquito Joe services both residential and commercial areas in the North towns of Buffalo, NY.

Recommendation # 1 Focus on the Target Markets

We are recommending the business focuses

on: Daycare centers Restaurants with outdoor patios Wedding/events venues And networking with VeterinariansThese suggestions are based on the urgent necessity of pest-free regions.

Daycare centers especially need to be concerned about the Zika virus.

These organizations can aid in:

Recommendation #2:Increasing Brand Awareness

Mosquito Joe of WNY is fairly newer to the region, so we want the business to gain as much exposure as possible. W have determined this decision based upon surveying some of Mosquito Joe’s target market.

Mosquito Joe should directly advertise to their target market during their off-season to have greater brand recognition before the active season.

Through the use of email, social media, Chamber of Commerce, and other recommendations we’ve concluded, Mosquito Joe can reach out to a mass audience of potential customers who will better understand the services it offers.

Recommendation # 3: E-mailing potential and existing customers

Helps to ensure consistent contact with existing customers. It also allows Mosquito Joe to keep customers up to date with limited effort.

Suggest the business become aggressive when it comes to marketing and brand awareness.

Reach out to more local customers with promotions, contests, referral opportunities, and pest removal tips

Recommendation # 4Commercial Customers Tab We are suggesting for Mosquito Joe to implement a tab on the website

for commercial clients, this separates the services that they can provide to commercial clients from the services provided to residential customers.

The tab should include photos of the variety of businesses that Mosquito Joe can service, demonstration videos of services being provided for these businesses, promotional coupons/offers solely for commercial clients, and testimonials from business clients.

By being heavily active in the Chamber of Commerce, Mosquito Joe will have the opportunity to become involved with government, community and education leaders.The Chamber of Commerce is very supportive of businesses through welcome bags, visitor's guide, B2B exposure and discounts.Suggestion to join more than one Chamber of Commerce

Recommendation # 7Effectively use Social Media

Since Mosquito Joe must constantly keep an edge over competitors, social media may be one of the most important tools. Facebook only promotions will help measure if Facebook marketing is effective. LinkedIn

Recommendation # 8Increase Yelp Reviews

We are recommending for Mosquito Joe to make a request via a phone call or e-mail to a customer/client after a service has been provided, to compose a review on Yelp.

Yelp is a site/app that lets consumers search local businesses. It also enables customers to make a review, good or bad about the services or products from that business.

It is free to setup an account and it allows business owners to post photos and communicate with their customers

Recommendation # 9Press Release Press Release is a “public relations announcement issued to the media

and other targeted publications for the purpose of publicizing a developing business.”

Mosquito Joe should write it for better excitement and explanation of their expertise.

Examples of where Mosquito Joe can reach their target market are The Home and Garden show, and Day Care center’s event such as Quality Stars and Directors as Leaders.

Mosquito Joe can participate by having giveaways such as a free commercial/residential barrier spray or citronella candles.

Another possibility is for the organization to ask attendees to like its Facebook page in order to enter the drawing.

This helps to broaden the database of clients.
