CAN DO!/Uptown NSP2 Grant RequestThe College Avenue Neighborhood Development

Organization – CAN DO! applied for theNeighborhood Stabilization Program 2 Grant tofund the Uptown Project.

The NSP2 Grant was open for statewide appli-cation, with the total number to be chosen limitedto 40. The CAN DO!/Uptown request was one ofthe 40 selected to proceed through the evaluation

process. Several important letters were receivedin support of this project. Below are two of these,the first being from Senator Lugar and the secondfrom Representative André Carson.*
