Anti-Condensation in Electrical Enclosures Protecting installed electrical equipment from environmental conditions.

When conditions are humid or the temperature suddenly drops the moisture held in the air cannot stay

suspended as a vapour anymore and must condense back into liquid. You may notice this on car windows,

a cold drink or mirrors.

The temperature at which this happens is called the dew point and the water that condenses is known as

condensation (or dew). This same effect can cause problems with electrical equipment as condensation can

occur inside enclosures and on sensitive equipment if they are not suitably protected.

B&R Enclosures offer a range of climate control accessories that assist with the maintaining of appropriate

temperatures within an enclosure, protecting installed equipment from being damaged from external

conditions.
